On March 31, 2017, the Honorable Gonzalo P. Curiel of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California granted final approval of a $25 million settlement reached by Robbins Geller attorneys in the Trump University cases, under which “Eligible Class Members may receive [a] recovery of 90% or greater.” Robbins Geller litigated the case pro bono, allowing maximum recovery to plaintiffs and class members.
“This case was unprecedented in so many ways; it’s only fitting that it ended with an unprecedented recovery for so many people,” said partner Rachel Jensen. “Our firm put the lives of the class members and the interests of our country before our fees, and for that I could not be prouder.”
