Robbins Geller Announces 2025 Class of New Partners
Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP elevated the following lawyers to partner effective January 1, 2025: Nicolle B. Brito; Andrew W. Hutton; and Christopher R. Kinnon.

- Nicolle B. Brito is a new partner in the Firm’s Boca Raton office. Her practice focuses on complex class actions and multi-district litigation, covering consumer fraud, public nuisance, environmental litigation, privacy litigation, pharmaceuticals, and RICO. Nicolle was a member of the Firm’s opioids team, leading the effort on behalf of cities and counties around the country in the nationwide opioid litigation. She was a member of the winning trial team on behalf of the People of the State of California in San Francisco’s bellwether case against Allergan, Teva, Walgreens, and others in the prescription opioid supply chain, ultimately yielding $350 million in settlement funds after a successful liability trial. She continues to work on opioids, now representing third-party payors. Nicolle is currently a member of the AFFF litigation team, representing drinking and wastewater clients against chemical and manufacturing giants, such as 3M and DuPont, for their role in contaminating water supplies with the toxic chemical PFAS. To date, the MDL has generated over $12 billion in settlements from defendants. She also works on the Firm’s social media youth addiction cases, representing school districts and attorneys general against the technology industry for harms caused to youth by social media platforms. Nicolle earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, with a minor in Sociology, from Florida International University. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, where she attended as a Goodwin Scholar, and graduated cum laude.
- Andrew W. Hutton is a new partner in the Firm’s San Diego office. Drew is experienced in complex securities, shareholder derivative, and consumer litigation. Representative cases include: In re Prudential Sales Practices Litig. ($4.0 billion); In re AOL Time Warner Sec. Litig. ($2.5 billion); In re Williams Cos. Sec. Litig. ($311 million); In re Broadcom Sec. Litig. ($150 million); In re Affiliated Computer Servs. Derivative Litig. ($30 million); In re KB Home S’holder Derivative Litig. ($30 million); and In re KeyCorp Derivative Litig. (modified CEO stock options and governance). Before joining Robbins Geller, Drew was a public company accountant, Certified Public Accountant, and broker of stocks, options, and insurance products. Drew is certified in financial forensics by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and has also served as an expert litigation consultant in both financial and corporate governance capacities. Drew earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, a Certificate in Data Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles.
- Christopher R. Kinnon is a new partner in the Firm’s San Diego office. His practice focuses on securities fraud litigation. Chris was a member of a team of Robbins Geller attorneys who recently obtained a $434 million settlement in In re Under Armour Sec. Litig. just weeks before a jury trial was set to begin in Baltimore, Maryland after over five years of litigation. The $434 million recovery is the second largest securities-fraud settlement ever in the Fourth Circuit and is among the top 50 largest such recoveries in U.S. history. Chris was also a member of teams of Robbins Geller attorneys that obtained a $1.21 billion settlement in In re Valeant Pharms. Int’l, Inc. Sec. Litig. and an $809 million settlement in In re Twitter, Inc. Sec. Litig. Chris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of British Columbia and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan Law School, where he was a Clarence Darrow Scholar. While in law school, he interned at the National Labor Relations Board in Washington, D.C. as a Peggy Browning Fellow. Before law school, Chris was a municipal sanitation worker, an elected executive board member with the Canadian Union of Public Employees, Local 1004 (CUPE 1004), and a recording artist.
