Partner Spencer Burkholz Selected as 2023 Top Plaintiff Lawyer by Daily Journal

The Daily Journal named Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP partner Spencer A. Burkholz to its annual Top Plaintiff Lawyers list. Burkholz has been a “prominent figure in the field of securities class actions and has a track record spanning more than two decades.” Burkholz is a partner in the Firm’s San Diego office and a managing partner of the Firm.

In the past year, Burkholz has played leading roles in securities fraud cases that have resulted in significant recoveries for investors, including Wells Fargo ($300 million), McKesson ($141 million recovery), Envision Healthcare ($177.5 million, pending court approval), and Cardinal Health ($109 million). He was one of the lead trial attorneys in the Household case, the largest securities class action recovery following trial, where he and the litigation team obtained a $1.575 billion settlement after 14 years of litigation.
