Partners Lea Malani Bays and Stuart Davidson Selected as “2025 Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award” Winners

After reviewing articles published in the last year by attorneys from the nation’s 1,000 largest law firms, the Burton Awards selected partners Lea Malani Bays and Stuart Davidson as “2025 Law360 Distinguished Legal Writing Award” winners. This prestigious award is given to only 20 writing teams per year. Lea and Stu were the only winners from a plaintiff-side firm this year.  

Lea and Stuart were honored for their article “The Missing Links: Why Hyperlinks Must Be Treated as Attachments in Electronic Discovery,” published in the University of Cincinnati Law Review. 

When announcing the winners, the awards’ Founder and Chair William Burton said: “The winners are exceptional writers. They truly deserve the recognition they will be given.”
