Benchmark Litigation Awards Robbins Geller an Impact Case Award for Alphabet Recovery and Names Partner Jason Forge Plaintiff Litigator of the Year

At its annual awards ceremony, Benchmark Litigation recognized Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s achievement on a record-breaking $350 million recovery in a securities fraud case against Alphabet. Partner Jason A. Forge led the Alphabet litigation team and was named Benchmark’s Plaintiff Litigator of the Year.
The $350 million recovery is the largest ever privacy or cybersecurity-related securities class action recovery, the Ninth Circuit’s largest ever securities class action recovery following a complete dismissal, and one of the top 100 securities-related class action recoveries of all time. Robbins Geller achieved the settlement after over five years of litigation, including an appellate victory in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit after the district court dismissed the case. Forge argued the case before a three-judge panel of the Ninth Circuit that unanimously reversed the district court’s dismissal order.
In its annual guides, Benchmark Litigation has ranked Robbins Geller as a Tier 1 Securities Firm and a Top Plaintiff Firm every year since 2022. The 2025 edition quotes a defense attorney who said Robbins Geller attorneys are “formidable opponents” and a peer who called the Firm a “credible trial threat.” The Firm has been recognized as Plaintiff Firm of the Year twice at the awards, which recognize “the country’s most distinguished litigators and their firms.”
Robbins Geller attorneys Jason A. Forge, Laura M. Andracchio, Michael Albert, J. Marco Janoski Gray, Ting H. Liu, Kenneth P. Dolitsky, and Sarah A. Fallon represented the lead plaintiff in the Alphabet case.
