Lawdragon Features San Diego Partner Debra Wyman in the Lawyer Limelight

Lawdragon recently featured Debra J. Wyman, a partner in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP’s San Diego office, in its Lawyer Limelight series. The series profiles top attorneys and their recent achievements and career highlights.

Wyman spoke with Lawdragon about her advice for young lawyers and her early career mentor. Wyman also discussed the most memorable case of her career — the record-breaking $1.025 billion settlement in In re American Realty Capital Properties, Inc. Litigation and the importance of upholding the rights of shareholders.

“[The American Realty settlement] shows that executives need to take their duty to shareholders seriously and will be held accountable when they don’t do so,” Wyman told Lawdragon.

In addition to her litigation practice, Wyman leads the Firm’s San Diego office recruiting and has been recognized as a leader for her efforts to recruit a new generation of leaders into the plaintiff’s bar.
