Partner Rachel Jensen Named a Lawdragon Legend

Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP partner Rachel L. Jensen was selected as one of Lawdragon’s 2024 Legends, one of only 33 attorneys in the United States to receive the distinction this year. Lawdragon’s Legends are attorneys who have been selected repeatedly for Lawdragon’s 500 leading lawyers. Jensen joins Robbins Geller partners Shawn A. Williams, Paul J. Geller, and Darren Robbins, who have been selected as Lawdragon Legends in previous years.

In her over 20-year career, Jensen has crafted impactful business reforms and helped to recover billions of dollars on behalf of working families, small businesses, and government entities. Jensen recently served as co-lead trial counsel in a qui tam case against a bus manufacturer to enforce a “good jobs” U.S. employment plan in a $500 million procurement contract with LA Metro. The settlement, hailed by labor leaders around the country, included a historic multi-state community benefits agreement with workforce development programs, fair hiring, and equity measures in Ontario, California and Anniston, Alabama. Jensen was one of the lead attorneys representing Trump University students in litigation that yielded nearly 100% of the “tuition” students paid, and did so on a pro bono basis. Jensen also played significant roles in cases such as In re LendingClub Sec. Litig. ($125 million securities fraud settlement); City of Westland Police & Fire Ret. Sys. v. Stumpf ($67 million in homeowner down-payment assistance and credit counseling for cities hit by foreclosure crisis and computer integration for mortgage servicing in “robo-signing” case); and In re Checking Account Overdraft Litig. ($500 million in settlements with major banks for manipulating debit transactions to maximize overdraft fees).

Jensen has also been recognized as a Leading Lawyer in America, Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyer, and Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyer by Lawdragon.
