Robbins Geller Named Plaintiff Firm of the Year at Benchmark Litigation West Coast Awards

Partner Daniel Drosman Named Plaintiff Litigator of the Year and San Diego Litigator of the Year

At Benchmark Litigation’s West Coast Awards, Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd LLP was named Plaintiff Firm of the Year and was honored in the San Diego Regional Category. The awards “recognize the country’s most distinguished litigators and their firms for their exemplary work over the past twelve months.” Partner Daniel S. Drosman was named both Plaintiff Litigator of the Year and San Diego Litigator of the Year.

Robbins Geller has been recognized by other independent researchers as a top plaintiffs’ firm. The Firm is ranked #1 on the 2021 ISS Securities Class Action Services Top 50 Report for recovering nearly $2 billion for investors last year, more than triple the amount recovered by any other plaintiffs’ firm. The Firm’s 2021 recovery against Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, Inc. was the largest of the year recorded by ISS.

Drosman served as Robbins Geller’s lead counsel in In re Twitter Inc. Securities Litigation, a securities fraud class action case against Twitter. The record-breaking $809.5 million settlement was negotiated by Robbins Geller and co-counsel on the eve of a federal jury trial in September 2021. If the Twitter settlement receives final approval from the court, it will be one of the top 20 securities class action settlements of all time, according to ISS.
