Overview

Anny Martin is an associate in Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd’s Boca Raton office. She focuses her practice on mass tort, antitrust, and consumer fraud litigation.

Anny began her practice in a boutique maritime law firm in Miami where she completed major transactions for the purchase and sale of luxury yachts. She also represented domestic and foreign clients in state and federal courts where she litigated cases involving wrongful death, death on the high seas, vessel arrests, brokerage commission disputes, insurance coverage disputes, and unpaid maritime lien claims. Anny has also participated in international arbitration and appeared before the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board. Before joining the Firm, Anny practiced business and commercial litigation for a small firm in Miami where she successfully prosecuted fraud claims on behalf of Latin American clients.

Anny earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at UCLA where she double majored in Political Science and International Development Studies and minored in French. After graduating from UCLA, Anny went on to complete her Master of Business Administration degree at Universidad Catolica Boliviana in La Paz, Bolivia, where she wrote her master’s thesis entitled Emprendimiento en el Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia (Entrepreneurship in the Plurinational State of Bolivia). After working in finance for a few years in Los Angeles, California, Anny decided to pursue a law degree. She attended the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, where she served as the Student Works Editor of the Florida Journal of International Law and obtained her Juris Doctorate degree in 2016. Anny also worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Terry J. Hatter Jr. in the Central District of California in Los Angeles, California.

Anny is admitted to practice law in Florida. In her free time, Anny enjoys running and spinning in South Beach and spending time with her friends and family.
